what a wonderful world + break
i will be exhibiting at my last and favorite show tomorrow night, december 14th at the california academy of sciences. come by if you’re around! if you can’t make it and would like to get some prints, card, etc please order soon to ensure it gets there by christmas – i suggest ordering by december 18th.
also, i know i keep saying this but i will be taking a long break to work on a big project. it’s hard for me to stop drawing what i love… but i must! i will be back as soon as i can ^_^

busby berkeley dreams
one of my favorite bands in high school was the magnetic fields and even today i love listening to their music. i contributed to a wonderful project called the 69 love songs, illustrated. this is my take on their song busby berkeley dreams, here are a few lines –
“I haven’t seen you in ages
But it’s not as bleak as it seems
We still dance on whirling stages
In my Busby Berkeley dreams”
