flirty + wondercon
i am heading to southern california this weekend for wondercon, if you’re in the anaheim area please come by, my table is D-18. if you’re planning on stopping by and have print requests let me know, team everyday love will be printing tomorrow! this will be my last show for a long while – as i won’t be at san diego comicon this year. after a very busy season of work and work travel, i am happy that after this i will be still for a bit so i can focus on my books – which are more excruciating than i care to admit.

book news!
i am thrilled to announce that i will be working on a children’s book with author hugh howey. over the next few months i will be creating 32 illustrations for his lovely book about a cloud named misty.
it’s been nearly 4 years since i started working as an artist full-time, and for the first time i feel truly legit. i’m working on two books – pashmina, my graphic novel, and now this project with hugh. it feels like all the late nights, conventions and craft shows have brought me here and i feel happy.
in order to manage my book deadlines, i will be pulling back from my regular illustration posts – i will try to post one image a week, but can’t make any promises!

emerald city comicon bound
we will be driving up to seattle on thursday for one of my favorite conventions of the year – emerald city comicon. you can find team everyday love near the front (eee!) at booth 607.
i created a few original mini wood burnings especially for the show and of course, we’ll have new prints!
i’ll also have my new laser cut necklaces, and for anyone who purchases over $30 of merch will receive a limited edition reusable bag (while supplies last) – great to carry your con loot in! ^_^
