Simple Custom Illustrations
This listing is for simple custom illustrations by Nidhi Chanani. Simple illustrations like the examples seen here are created from a photograph. The illustration will be made with a white background – no exceptions.

In order to keep the cost of these custom pieces manageable, you must understand the process to help reduce the time spent emailing and answering questions.
The first thing you need to know-
I will allot a limited number of slots each time. It is a first come, first served basis. No reservations accepted.Follow me on any of my social media sites (linked above) or join my mailing list to stay informed on availability. I will notify those on my mailing list first.
What’s the price?
There are three options for custom illustrations with a white background. These options will be listed below (please note their different specifications)
$700 Custom illustration includes – Up to two characters (child, adult, or animal) and plain white background.
$850 Custom illustration includes – Three characters (child, adult, or animal) and plain white background.
$1000 Custom illustration includes – Four characters (child, adult, or animal) and plain white background.
(NOTE: The custom illustration with a white background is capped at FOUR characters)
Any of the three options can have the figures close up, half body or full body. The price includes one initial sketch and final piece as a high resolution JPG file that you can print in any size. The price reflects the cost of my time for emails, artwork, and revisions.The high resolution JPG is for personal use only. You may use it to create wedding cards, save the dates, and any other personal use. You cannot produce and sell the drawing.
I will also send you a low resolution, watermarked version that you are welcome to post online and share. I reserve the right to use the low resolution version as an example of my work but will not use or sell it elsewhere.
What is the process?
If you purchase one of the slots, I will email to your custom illustration slot and start date. Please reply to the email with a confirmation and your photo (ideally one photo, but you can send up to five reference images) and a BRIEF description of what you want and if there are any differences from your photograph.The start date will occur the same month the spots are released.
When your scheduled start date arrives, I will create a sketch based on your request. I will email the line drawing to you. You will have ONE chance to make any major changes or suggestions, for instance the position of characters, clothing type or hairstyle.
After adjustments are made, I will complete the color version. I will email you the final illustration as a high-resolution file. In the EXTREME case that you are not happy with the final product, you can make minor changes. However, any changes made are subject to additional charges determined on a case by case basis.The custom illustration price DOES NOT include a print. You can print it on canvas, giclee, or whatever you want (there are many options online at places like printsonwood, zazzle, etc).
The whole process should take 1 week. If you take a while to respond with revisions, of course, the process can take longer.
