Why Kids Love Spooky Stories
So why do kids love spooky stories? Three middle grade authors share their new books and talk about why spooky stories are good for kids. R.L. Stine is the king of spooky books, starting with the Goosebumps and Fear Street books. Matt McMann’s new Monsterious series combines mysteries and monsters, while Nidhi Chanani creates a graphic novel world in which a monster lives below her grandmother’s boba shop.
