Peninsula Comics Festival Presentation
Nidhi will speak about her path to comics and the process of creating Pashmina. Nidhi Chanani is a freelance illustrator, cartoonist and writer. Her debut graphic novel, Pashmina, received starred reviews in the School Library Journal, Publisher’s Weekly, and was reviewed in the New York Times. In March of 2019, the film adaptation of Pashmina with Netflix was announced. She is currently working on her second original graphic novel, Jukebox, which is slated for 2021 release. **Event cancelled** Nidhi is happy to announce another appearance at the 2020 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival. Her new Disney pieces, including the above Mulan piece “Victorious”, Moana piece “I will be with you”, Thumper “Kinda Bashful” and “Dreams come true” will be available exclusively at the festival from Feb 28th to April 21st. There will also be a selection of non Disney prints like “Love you forever” and “Three of us” available. Nidhi will also be painting live and signing artwork…
