this is a commission i did a bit ago, it was so much fun – i wanted to convey that first butterfly-in-the-stomach nervous and excited feeling before a first kiss…

growing up i would always hear stories from my mom about holi (the festival to celebrate the arrival of spring, which includes throwing colored powder on each other) … my mom would throw balloons full of colored water from her balcony…!
